Welcome to the Road Runner Lambretta Club Imola New Official Website!

What you have in your hands is the new look of our site. We built from basis, dividing in pretty clear sections everything concerning our Club social life since 1994 to present days. Our primarily goal is to support in all ways Lambretta Scooter, organizing National Rallies, Do's, Scooter Holidays, Fairs etc. I hope you'll find this site quite nice and useful.

The Road Runner Lambretta Club History

In the late Eighties,Lambretta Club d'Italia was refounded, after its shut down together Innocenti Factory in 1971,and after a few years that's brought to the birth of many National and local Lambretta Clubs all over the world.

The only Club that formally never shut down after Innocenti closure, was LCGB - Lambretta Club of Great Britain.

Now we have to focus on why United Kingdom was the only Country in the world that hand down with continuity the enthusiasm and love for Lambretta: Scooter Clubs and Lambretta Clubs never stopped to support the means Lambretta even thanks to a unique and so cool young movement such as the one of Mods, born in the early sixties and still strong nowdays...but this is another story!

Road Runner Philosophy

It's the endless challenge between necessity and velocity, frustration and acceleration. The stubborn coyote is always up to something to catch the ROAD RUNNER, that,danger careless, he always succeed to run away!. Here are 5 Club's rules:

 

Rule 1:The ROAD RUNNER doesn't fly so high, simply rush with his scooter , so to become Club member, you must be a lambretta owner and not being a coyote.

 

Rule 2: Every ROAD RUNNER event has the only purpose to have a very good time together so no coyotes will get money on, earnings will be plough back for leisure maintenance itself.

 

Rule 3: Coyote can stop at any time - if wasn't fanatical. Naturally he can't let go; he's convinced the next time will be the right time, so if you're a real ROAD RUNNER you'll never been caught by him.

 

Rule 4: No chat or dialogue at all, only Beep! Beep! Ah,and the occasional sound when coyote realizes his efforts will get only pain to himself. A ROAD RUNNER is not a servant of the power (of any power).

 

Rule 5: A ROAD RUNNER is always on the road - but because is a Lambrettista enthusiast! So come on...take your Lambretta out of garage and SHARE your love with us!
